In 2021, Make Music Cyprus returned to the streets of Nicosia, bringing live music back to public space after the online experience of 2020. The festival took place with physical presence, but under restrictions, requiring significant adaptation and reorganization.

Despite the conditions, the city was once again filled with music, with simultaneous events across different locations, allowing the public to move through the urban landscape and experience music as a journey. In total, 41 artists participated across 7 music spots.

This year highlighted the importance of physical presence and collective experience, reconnecting the festival with the city and its audience. It was a transitional yet meaningful moment that paved the way for the full growth that would follow.
